The Muenster Memorial Hospital Laboratory is a patient-friendly facility with four medical technologists on staff.  MMH technologists have combined experience of 60 years; with each technologist holding a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, and American Medical Technologists (AMT) certification.

Laboratory hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and by appointment on Saturday from 7 - 10am.  After 5 p.m. weekdays and on weekends, our staff is on call for emergency and inpatient labs.

MMH offers a variety of tests done in-house. This includes complete blood count, sedimentation rate, routine chemistry, immunoassay, coagulation studies, serological tests, urinalysis and cardiac markers. We also do blood gases and blood bank including cross-matching. Tests that are not done in-house will be sent to our reference lab at Quest Diagnostics in Dallas, Texas. We also use Texoma Regional Blood Center for our blood and blood product needs. The MMH lab also performs DOT breath alcohol testing and urine drug screen collection for both DOT and non-DOT clients, as well as hair follicle drug collection.

The MMH Laboratory is accredited by the Commission on Office Laboratory Accreditation (COLA). We are committed in serving the people of Muenster and surrounding areas. Our goal is to provide our physicians and other health care practitioners the highest quality lab results possible.
